You might be aware of recent programming changes made by the Interim Program Director (iPD), with some programmers being given additional hours and others cut to 1/2 hour and/or moved around on the grid. Radio Intifada is one of the programs that has been reduced to 1/2 hour weekly, to be aired at 2:30 on Thursdays instead of 3pm. Although the iPD has promised to restore Radio Intifada to a full hour in February, he may or many not be in place and may or may not be able to fulfill this promise if the forces critical of Radio Intifada and other radical, Mission -driven programming have their way. If you think the content of our programs are of value to the communities we serve, please let the station know. Just one email can help assure that the voice of the oppressed in the region - especially the Palestinians - will not be silenced. Please help assure that the struggles of those on the ground there and in the solidarity movement world-wide continue to be heard and presented with the kind of in-depth analysis that is the hallmark of Radio Intifada.
