Maher al-Taher, member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and leader of its branch in exile, said on Saturday, December 29, 2007 that the Palestinian national and Islamic forces are meeting to convene a Palestinian national convention in Syria which aims to regain Palestinian national unity and uphold the Palestinian national constants with Palestinian and Arab participation.
