We received the news of the passing of your father, the legendary Suhail Idriss, with great sadness and sorrow. Please accept our most sincere and heartfelt condolences, as your father was and remains a comrade and teacher to all of us. These indeed seem to be difficult days, losing some of our greats at a time when only the greats can survive. Samah, please know that even from as far away as we are and despite the wretchedness of exile, Suhail Idriss's print on our Arab collective struggle is engraved deeply and forever in us - for unity, liberation and egalitarianism.
