The normally tranquil surroundings of the US Consulate General in Jerusalem rocked to the sounds of gospel, jazz and blues on Monday, as Palestinian school children took part in a workshop with American gospel diva, Janice Harrington and her band.
Twenty-eight children from the Muslim Al-Rawdha Al-Islamiyya school and the Christian Freres School, both in East Jerusalem sang, danced and played music with the three world-renowned musicians.
