PFLP reiterates rejection of Sa'adat's trial in zionist courts

Gaza – From Ma'an – The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) reiterated on Monday its rejection of the trial of its Secretary General Ahmad Sa'adat in zionist courts. These declarations were made during a joint press conference between the PFLP and the Islamic Jihad, held in front of the Red Cross' HQs in Gaza City, commemorating the second anniversary of the apprehension of Sa'adat.
Members of the PFLP's politburo Maryam Abu Duqqa called on the Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas to rearrange the Palestinian political arena and to resume nationalist dialogue. She described the state of rivalry in the Palestinian territories as an opportunity for the zionist occupation to increase aggression towards the Palestinian people, especially those prisoners in Nazi jails.
"Continuation of the detention of Sa'adat, Nora Hashlamoun and her husband from Hebron, who left behind six children, is a shame on the Arab and Islamic nations," Khalid Al-Batsh, a senior leader of the Islamic Jihad stated in the press conference. He called on all Palestinian military groups to abduct zionist soldiers who could then be exchanged with Palestinian prisoners.
For his part, Hamas' leader Isma'il Radwan said, "It is time the Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority stopped security coordination with the occupiers which results in the apprehension of Palestinian activists"
