Abbas and Olmert: negotiations to continue to end of 2008

During their Sunday meeting Mahmoud Abbas and Ehud Olmert agreed that despite the latter's imminent departure from office, the two sides will push forward with peace negotiations.
Olmert's spokesperson told the zionist press on Sunday that the two leaders would work to ensure that the negotiation process continues until the end of 2008.
