We know better than this

It's obvious that "holding power" is the driving force that's steering our struggle right now.It's shameful that political groups and parties are putting their own "Marsala" before our national ones.
It's important to understand that neither Fateh nor Hamas are doing anything at this time that will not secure their hold on power. Fateh for years (and people who lived in the 70's and 80's ) still remember the inner fighting (within the PLO) that Fateh engaged in to secure it's hold on power (many Palestinians got killed as well). It's Hamas that is doing this at this time .The Mecca accord was a meeting to broker power sharing method that neither Fateh nor Hamas wanted ....It was not a meeting to find ways to get the siege off our people.
Democracy is pretty fluid term . Fateh wants it if it gets it in power ,and Hamas wants it only once ,the one that gets it in power.
After the Legislative election ,The Free Palestine Alliance in the US,did a Primer about the elections .Please read it ,because it makes clear why we are in this situation. We hoped by that Primer that we as Palestinian people will reach an understanding that only by putting our struggle in the correct prospective, and by staying away from putting a 'party' before the cause that we will advance as a people and a struggle,obviously and surprisingly, this will take a long time even though we as a people ( as especially outside palestine ) know better than this.
